PIKSL Supported By SKala Initiative
SKala is a funding program that invests into social entrepreneurships with a proven record of social impact in Germany and helps them grow (scale) their ideas and organizations. It was initiated by Susanne Klatten who donate 100 million Euros to the program and hired the consulting firm PHINEO to select the most promising organizations to invest in.
In 2016, PIKSL was chosen as one of the first ten organizations to receive funding. In the first phase, which runs until May 2017, PIKSL receives about 127.000 Euros to do a feasibility study that will help to decide about its scalability. The time is also used to reshape the social business model to be well prepared for further PIKSL labs around Germany. To help us with this, Marius Mews has joined our team in November 2016.
